My name is Austin Kois and I am a Champion level West Coast Swing dancer. I’ve been dancing West Coast Swing for over a decade and teaching for more than half of that time. Home for me is San Francisco, CA, where I help run the venerable Mission City Swing, one of San Francisco’s most iconic West Coast Swing dance nights as Head of Education and a member of the leadership team. I also run Groovy Tuesdays WCS in conjunction with Starlite Ballroom in San Jose, CA on Tuesday nights, bringing dancers together from all around the South Bay.

In 2023, I was inducted into the California Swing Dance Hall of Fame in the Nova Star category. I have won or placed in a multitude of competitions in both Jack and Jill and Strictly Swing divisions at contests across the United States and internationally.
